Our church is in the 14 day trial period. I was trying to resize the lyrics and to make them boldface on our presentation yesterday. I was unable to do this. Wold it be because we are in the trial period?

When you're in the 14-day trial, you have all the features of the program available. I wonder if you have the lyrics box selected. Click inside the edit box in the center or inside the lyrics preview on the right. You might want to watch some of the training videos https://support.proclaim.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/19863193381005-Proclaim-Training-Videos

One of the things that I learned early on,
    William Widdows
, is that Song service items will adjust the size of the text on the slide in order to fit all on the slide. If the line is too long, Proclaim will shrink the font, if there are too many lines for the slide, Proclaim will shrink the font. Here is an example, the lyrics below are already broken up so as to fit on one slide (Verse 1 is on one slide and the Chorus on the next), but the lines are long so the font will be smaller so that it will fit the width of the text box. The first screenshot shows what that looks like: Verse 1 I know not why God's wondrous grace to me He hath made known Nor why unworthy Christ in love redeemed me for His own Chorus 1 But I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able To keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day So I broke each line up like so: Verse 1 I know not why God's wondrous grace To me He hath made known Nor why unworthy Christ in love Redeemed me for His own Chorus 1 But I know whom I have believed And am persuaded that He is able To keep that which I've committed Unto Him against that day The result is my second screenshot, see how much larger the font is. Think about the meter of the song, or where the praise team takes a breath and make your breaks accordingly. In another instance, if there is not a line break all the lyrics will be put on that one slide and Proclaim will shrink the font accordingly. For instance these lyrics from the Brandon Lake song Praise would be shrunk by Proclaim -- too many lines per slide (3rd screenshot): Verse 1 I’ll praise in the valley Praise on the mountain I’ll praise when I’m sure Praise when I’m doubting I’ll praise when outnumbered Praise when surrounded 'Cause praise is the water My enemies drown in You'd probably want to break it up like this (4th screenshot): Verse 1 I’ll praise in the valley Praise on the mountain I’ll praise when I’m sure Praise when I’m doubting I’ll praise when outnumbered Praise when surrounded 'Cause praise is the water My enemies drown in Also, if 14 days isn't enough time to make a decision (it used to be a full month) be sure to ask for an extension of your free trial, I'm sure they will grant it.
