I am new to Logos, I'd like to figure out the easiest way to quickly search for inflected words, so for example. How can I search this in the desktop/web app? It seems like it somewhat worked on the web app, but it picked up some other verses that should not have been picked up. Not sure if there is a way to search a specific hebrew word with the vowel points?

- Thanks, yeah no luck on the panel linking for me, say look at these screenshots, it seems that if I do match mark on the manuscript, it makes sense, it only finds the 1 form of that, so that works for me. However, oddly enough I wonder why if I copy the lemma, that it doesn't find anything? I figure it would filter as well right there in that same search box? Does logos offer any kind of API where I could build a search box, to more quickly look up lemmas and manuscript forms?
- >if I copy the lemma, that it doesn't find anything? The homograph number is an essential part of the lemma, so the search query needs to be lemma.h:עֶ֫צֶב.2 Using the context menu or autocomplete in the Search query input is easier than trying to type that out, since the left to right text makes the homograph number look like it comes before the word, when it actually follows. You'll get that option if you paste עֶ֫צֶב, or if you type something to "untransliterate" like etsev.
- Thanks Lawrence Rafferty, I wonder if Logos could build a "lite" version where it only allows for a user to use these features? 1) text comparison tool on any single scripture reference (Example: John 1:1) 2) bible word study tool on any single word from that scripture reference (Example: "beginning" from John 1:1) 2a) ability to see the complete range of words for that particular word, not only by single translation but all or certain set of translations A "lite" version would allow anyone, no matter where they read their bible, if they want to dig deeper on a given word, they could use the Logos "lite".
