FREED BY GRACE
Jesus, the human representation of God, reveals His authority and grace in John 8:1-11. The religious leaders misapply the Law, bringing only the woman caught in adultery to trap Jesus. Instead of answering immediately, He writes on the ground, then declares, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone first.” They leave, unable to lawfully condemn her. Jesus, the Lawgiver and Judge, upholds justice but extends mercy to the repentant. He tells her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” This moment displays Christ’s power to both judge sin and forgive those who turn to Him in repentance.
