Today proclaim synchronized with the logos servers and hosed my presentation! Not acceptable, logos. Here's what I believe happened. My worship leader was adding songs to the same presentation I was editing my sermon slides on. She must have synced without my slides being synced to the server and when my proclaim synced it took her newer presentation and completely hosed my changes. Logos must be syncing entire slideshows based on the slideshow's ID on their servers and the newest timestamp the server has. It shouldn't work like that. We've had this happen several times in my church and I'm sure others have as well. When you have a team of 8-10 people who could be working on the presentation at any one time, this problem is bound to come up on a fairly frequent basis. Logos, please fix this. A solution could be to sync based on the individual slides, not the timestamp of the whole presentation.
- that should NOT be happening... sorry for the disruption! > "My worship leader was adding songs to the same presentation I was editing my sermon slides on. " ^ that situation should have "Just worked". Proclaim always does a sync up first, and then a sync down. On Sync up, it should have merged your two changes, and then synced one down with your items and her items... Our CS rep let me now that he has been in contact with you. So we will continue to investigate and reach out if we need more info.
