What does it truly mean to “worship?” To find our answer, let’s go to the very first verse and the very first chapter in God’s Word. “In the beginning, God” (Genesis 1). He is the Creator, and we are the created. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is The Beginning and The End. He is great and we are small. If we truly believe that God is the Beginning and we are long after, then: What we offer in worship is a response to God Himself. We respond to who He is and how he has revealed himself through Scripture and in life. We aren’t worshiping a god that we are hoping will somehow, somewhere, sometime just “show up.” We serve a God Who is already here. The question is “do we” show up? Worship begins with God and ends with God. “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” - John 4.21-24 What we do in a service of worship is to glorify God in the name of Christ. May we always determine what worship is by God, and not what it should be by man. @BranonDempsey 👏Thanks for following us! #WorshipByGod #WorshipForGod #WorshipLeader #Singers #Musicians #WednesdayRehearsal #BetterBySunday #MakeWorshipGlorious #WorshipTeamTraining #BranonDempsey #Inspire #Create #Transform‬‬ #Worship #Ministry #LeaderOfWorship #BeTheChurch#Worshiper #WorshipTeam #Workshops #Podcast #University #Devotionals @WorshipTeamTraining

It’s tempting to go drive life looking backwards. When you are always looking back, you become focused on failures, hurts or mistakes. Too often this is what stops people from being in the present. We focus on what “was” and not on what “is.” Re-living and recreating our image never solves the problem, hence why people stay in the past. Unless your willing to change what you see in the mirror, you will miss the blessings that are ahead. When we look in the mirror and say, “how can God love me. What about all the mistakes I’ve made,” it can be spiritually defeating. The Bible never says anywhere that once you are in the love of Christ your fault, damage or choices in life separates you from God. In fact, the Bible says the complete opposite: “neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans‬ ‭8:39‬ ‭NIV‬‬ He makes all things new everyday. Deal with the mirror through God’s help; it’s time to drive forward. ##Drive #RearviewMirror #DriveForward #LiveInTheLight #GodsMercy #AllThingsNew #Instagram #Drive #LivingGrace #CompleteTheWork #LookUp #NeverQuit #WorshipLeader #ForHisGlory #Ministry #EnterByHisMercy #NoShame #ByHisSpirit #NeverGiveUp #HisGrace Visit for More 📲 https://linktr.ee/worshipteamtraining

Make Us Great  (COVID-19 Prayers to Pray) - “You’ve given me the shield of your salvation; your strong hand has supported me; your help has made me great.” - ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:35‬ ‭CEB‬‬ - What comfort to know that You see, You hear and you know the needs of Your people. There is nothing known that is not known to You. There is nothing experienced, that You have not seen. There is no hurt, that You have not touched. You go before us like a Champion, and like a Shepherd you guard us on every side. What if seeing or hearing, You did not respond? What if You would not, or could not help? But You do help. You have responded to our need, even before we ask. The firm foundation of our hope and the fiery passion of our worship are caught up together in these words: "your strong hand has supported me." How can we not give you praise for what Your Salvation has done for us! What mystery! What joy! Here in this new era, this pandemic that has touched every life in some way, You still remind us of the Day of our ultimate rescue - Your Return. As we eagerly wait for our day of Hope, instill in us the kind of strong faith and stout heart to walk in that belief. You have never forsaken us, as You have shown from ancient of days. Thank you for providing each day with your help to make us great. We respond back to You in worship and give you grateful praise. “Our Light has come and shines through our scars.” @branondempsey The Father provided a way through the starry nights, a wonder that brought anticipation of hope and, eventually, peace. Could the Savior of the world, the Messiah, truly come to bring peace? We no longer sit in darkness with empty hope. Just as the Christ Child came once, He will soon come again to complete our joy. His peace is sufficient for our needs then as it is now. The world around us may seem hopeless, but His work within us becomes more hopeful. @BranonDempsey (Excerpt from the Book: “The Gift and the Giver” Copyright 2017 🌿 Get “The Gift and the Giver" https://vyrso.com/product/130021/the-gift-and-the-giver
