    07.13.2025 - God Leads Us in Our Steps Through Life
    Today’s message is about resting your head in God’s hand. Know that God is delighted to see you prosper in what He created you to be. Let go of all that you think you know. Gain wisdom from His Word and your relationship with Him. Let Him lead. Psalm 37:23–24; Isaiah 48:17; Psalms 32:8; James 3:2; Psalm 91:14–16

      07.06.2025 - Are You Prepared, Do You Have A Plan - Chaplain Grilley Mitchell
      God has prepared a place in heaven for those who trust His Son. And He has a plan to guide the world to embracing that trust. Though God has a plan for you, that does not mean that you are to remain still and wait for His plan to come to you. You must still enact a few plans of your own throughout your lifetime. With a plan, you can be sure of what to do in the situations you’ve planned for. Chaplain Mitchell gives us some biblical and personal examples demonstrating how without a plan, you may be taken advantage of or be the cause of your own downfall. Jeremiah 29:11–13; Proverbs 3:5–6; John 14:27

        06.29.2025 - A Picture of Repentance - Deacon Simeon Locklear
        Before being saved and as a new believer, you may have thought the meaning of repent was simply to turn towards God and away from sin. As we grow, we see that scripture reveals the deeper meaning of other scriptures. So that a passage you read last year will have additional meanings when read with the knowledge you’ve gained since then. Take what you know about repentance and let Deacon Lockler open your mind to a bigger picture of the word and the act. Then see what other books of the bible reveal to you once you have this in your memories. 2 Corinthians 7:8–11; Luke 15:7; 2 Timothy 2:25; Proverbs 9:10

          06.22.2025 - Hidden Sins (The Stuff) - Chap. Grilley Mitchell
          In this message, Chaplain Grilley Mitchell illustrates, from his history, the consequences of hiding your struggle with sin and the benefits of bringing them into the light. Hidden sins are those that you not only hide from the world, but also from God. At least you think you are hiding them from God by not praying for help in overcoming them. At the very least, you must take it to God. Confess to him and ask for forgiveness and strength. We would encourage you to also find a good brother or sister in Christ as an accountability partner. Partner being the major point. If you can’t find one or don’t have the courage, ask God for those too. Psalm 139:23–24; Ephesians 4:31–32; Psalms 69:5

            06.15.2025 - Being A Father In A Changing Culture
            Becoming a parent comes with challenges in any generation. Times are always changing. But some things about how children grow and learn have never changed. We can use these truths to help us navigate whatever era we find ourselves in. Micah 6:8; Hebrews 4:12; Proverbs 20:7; Luke 6:30–36; Matthew 5:7; Luke 15: 11–20

              06.08.2025 - Do You Believe - Deacon Simeon Locklear
              Deacon Simeon Locklear gives us a relatable journey through believing in God but forgetting to bring your life’s struggles and victories to Him and trust that He is always with you. Try not to ignore signs that God is reaching out to build His relationship with you. Mark 5:21–43

                06.01.2025 - A Stronghold in Life’s Changes
                The circumstances of life change day by day. Hopefully more in positive ways than negative. By definition, a stronghold does not change. It’s always there when you need it and strong enough to handle whatever weight you put on it. Journey with Pastor Harisson through scriptures chronicling the security felt by those who leaned on God when life threw curveballs their way. Nahum 1:7; 1 John 4:8; Isaiah 41:13; Matthew 11:28; Psalms 18:2; Psalms 9:9; Isaiah 43:1; Psalms 91:14–16

                  05.25.2025 - The Cost of Freedom
                  Those who God calls His children certainly know the cost Christ paid to secure our freedom from sin. But do you know what it cost you? Galatians 5:1, 13–15; 1 Corinthians 6:20; Isaiah 53:5; Romans 6:4–5; Psalms 103:11–12; 1 John 1:9; John 8:36

                    05.18.2025 - Knowing The Season, You’re In
                    Do you cut the grass in the winter? I would hope not. Knowing what the current season is can tell you what activities to not waste our time on. It can also tell you where you should actually be spending your time. Not only the season of the year, but the season of your life, and how mature you are in your walk with God. Get to know the season you are in and what you should focus your attention on. Ecclesiastes 3:1;

                      05.11.2025 - A Mother’s Heart Reflects God’s Love
                      The Word of God has quite a bit of analogy and metaphor to go with the plain simple language of passages like the Ten Commandments. Many of which we can hopefully relate to as Jesus describes himself as a brother and Lord, God as a father while also carrying characteristics of a mother. Most of us can think of our own mothers, or if we had the misfortune of not growing up with ours, the mother of our friends and cousins. Recognize the love in their look, their embrace, and their speech. Then read God’s word again with that perspective in mind. Isaiah 66:13; Romans 5:8
