Could we try to drum up more support for this?

Last Sunday the Praise team was waaaayy late, Pastor chose to change directions on his sermon and was even later (he didn't have slides ready until the Praise Team was leading their second song) and our spotty mountain internet was worse than normal.

, I really CAN'T expect volunteers to be able to duplicate a presentation, remove items from the first service AND be ready in time. We are a very small community, with the resultant small talent pool.
I can't imagine that this is a difficult addition and every church that has different elements between first, second and sometimes a third service would benefit from it.
Not everyone has fast reliable internet, a large talent pool of volunteers and team members that are ready in time!! I am taking a vacation and will be away for two Sundays in December. How will I feel comfortable leaving?

Hi All;
I would really like to drum up some support for the item at the link. It would REALLY help if Proclaim could have the option for multiple services in the same presentation. Our 8:30 service only differs from our 10:30 service in the cue to start and stop the OBS stream, but many churches who have multiple services have far more differences between services. One church I know has different songs between the 2 services but everything else is the same.
I know that we could build 2 different presentations and load the presentation for service 2 in between the two services, but unreliable internet, or pastor running over (usually both) undermines that.
I had to be away 2 Sundays ago and returned to find that our stream had been 3 hours long. The volunteer forgot to stop the stream in OBS at 8:30.
I could also shut off OBS until after the cue happens, but we use OBS to send the service to a TV in the lobby (via a Chromecast) so we can't really shut that off.

- I feel your frustration my friend. I say this having humbly been in your shoes. You are going to have to learn to say, "No." When there is an imbalance of expectations verses resources, that is a straight road to burnout. While additional functionality in Faithlife would be glorious, I don't believe it will solve your larger issue. All the bells and whistles a software can provide is somewhat moot if you do not have the folks to operate it. If the demands of leadership out weighs the abilities of your volunteers, then there needs to be a healthy conversation about pursuing balance between expectations and abilities. I have ran myself into the ground before trying to do everything that leadership wanted to do and compensating for my wonderfully servant-hearted volunteers who just didn't have the technical ability. Any resemblance of a church life with my wife was nonexistent. I just had to have that hard conversation with the pastor and I had to tell him "No" on some things. Funny thing is that everyone is happier all around now. Maybe everyone was always happy and I just caught up. :-D I would make it clear that when you go out of town in December, that you are fully 100% gone. Those services must be planned to manage without your abilities for those weeks. Recognize the spiritual warfare that you are engaged in right now. Battling the one who kills, steels, and destroys. Our enemy loves when those who serve the Lord are stressed out and wearing out. But our God is faithful to renew our strength as eagles. Have the faith of David in our Creator and ask your brother/pastor for grace and help by working within the realistic parameters that your church has. Enjoy your time away in December and have faith that the Holy Spirit will always move. Your church will still be standing when you get back even if there are a few hiccups during those services. You can feel comfortable in leaving because your trust is in the Lord — that He will take care of everything according to His will. Even if those services do not go smoothly, God is not phased or limited by that. Your comfort is in God, not the hands of man. Your love and passion for how you serve is evident. Your church is blessed with riches to have you.
- Thanks, , burnout isn't an issue, burning through volunteers is. I take my time away whether the setup is ready for me to be gone or not. I don't like the thought of shut-ins not having a service to watch, but WILL take the time away. Pastor and the Elders insist that leadership take at least one week (preferably two) each quarter. I am trying to create something that can be easily replicated, and I am nearly there. We need this one thing because we get a volunteer that stays for a while, and when I can't be there they fall apart and quit. Four in the last year, and every one of them said it was the creation and changing of presentations in between services that was too much. , it would REALLY help to have multiple services in the same presentation. If it is set up, and all the volunteer has to do is show up, turn on the monitors and projector and simply advance slides, perhaps they'll continue volunteering.
