Overview

Offering an extraordinary window on centuries of dialogue between the Bible and literature, this superb, unprecedented, and award-winning reference work is designed to help the modern reader understand how biblical motifs, concepts, names, quotations, and allusions have been transmitted through exegetical tradition and used by authors of English literature from the Middle Ages to the present. Rarely look at. Material sometimes interesting looking at what Literature says. Sometimes referencing the Bible. Another resource to check the data on names or locations mentioned in the Bible.

Just happened across this in my searches today. Very helpful/intriguing. I gather there are some reservations about its presentation of information. However, it seems the best I've got access to.

FYI, there are no page numbers contained in the Logos version of this resource. This is highly disappointing from a research standpoint. And there is no index of English headwords, as noted by a previous reviewer.
